But to just lodge an FIR for the loss he was charged Rs 200 & the term used to collect this money is, its a Fee. As soon as the cops knew that, they said it took money to get them do it immediately or they would file it later. This was obviously a ********** and bull story, but one I had no choice but to buy. I couldn't take any chances with the passport.
The cops knew exactly what to be exploit and exploit it. I knew what was happening but was helpless because of my urgency.

BTW: What if the cops want to turn on everyone who registers a story of helplessness and of having to pay a bribe. Paying bribe is a crime after all. Another ace up the governments sleeve. *******

I've submitted my tax returns for year 2008-09 in 2009. I owe over Rs. 45,000/- as TDS refund.

Still waiting for some correspondence from government agencies. My CA suggested me to go & talk to them & ask for % they require, I am not in that favor personally.

Can someone suggest me the proper way to get the refund?
