I was asked to pay the amount of INR 2000 to file a FIR for my stolen bike by a constable and not only this, when my bike was recovered by the police unexpectedly] after a year I paid a bribe of INR 4000 to get it released from the police station.
Constable told me that he won't get much out of the amount I gave as most of the amount goes to our 'Bade Sahab'. I din't had any options and felt so terrible. This was the firs time I faced any corruption crap in a govt. sector.
This really need to change I we are standing up for it.

Police standing next to the ********** and they told i have violated the traffic Rule and you have to pay fine. Then Constable came to me and told pay 100 Rs otherwise. I told i have much money , i have only 70 Rs. He said that is fine and MR ******* Inspector Police in Karnataka took 70 Rs.....this is very cheap...
This is very common thing in Registrar office. They never work without bribe. They have fixed rate which can be described by agents. The main thing is that I am doing a legal activity for which everyone is paying bribe. I agree to pay the bribe if my transaction is illegal or indirect. Why should I pay bribe when I do the right thing for my personal need! By the way, this is one of the incident, like this we (Indians) pay lot of bribes which we forgot by time.
Bribe was part of my quotation it was called registrar fee.
Was very professional, there was an agent who arranged for the bribe to be paid without any hassles.
When I tried to question the need for such FEE, they comfortably replied in KANNADA. Which is the usual trick by officials in Bangalore, they will speak in KANNADA being fully aware the other person doesn't understand the language.
For the fear not staring another Tamil KANNADA fight I had to bow down one more time.
The proficient Haryana ********** ********** Board meter reader had added an additional zero to my monthly electricity bill that led to a massive inflated bill. I highlighted the concern at to the relevant official at HVDB office in sector 21 Gurgaon, who asked for Rs.500 bribe to bring things in order. I walked away from his demand. Issue was sorted when they came back after a month to disconnect. It was after some ordeal that they noticed the glaring mistake and sent the correct reading.
