I took out Rs 200 to which the inspector replied promplty "you see, two constables visited you on a vehcile, plus ********** (the lady constable) filled your papers, plus we are accepting bank statements and not asking for landline bill" .... They cannot randomly stop vehicles, just for inspection. Not sure how many know this). As my vehicle's insurance was expired, the traffic constable asked me to pay Rs.800 as fine at court or to pay Rs.200 on the spot as a bribe and get away.
