in the registration dept., we have to pass a test which is conducted there online, we dont know the signals and their meaning, we dont find a way to do so, not even when u search online, the office dont provide anything so to find out, finally we are forced to give bribe to the assistant through a broker to get passed in the test.
i need the system to be changed...
Although not asked directly but money was taken though different money to prepare affidavit only from the person known to the govt official and charged the amount for that.
Like most of the other respected citizens, I had all the requisite papers, I maintained decency of reach the police station on exact time, still I was asked to pay the "fees". When I asked how much would that be? ... I was told give whateever you wish. I took out Rs 200 to which the inspector replied promplty "you see, two constables visited you on a vehcile, plus ********** (the lady constable) filled your papers, plus we are accepting bank statements and not asking for landline bill" .... This actuall happened, verbatim.
There is alwaysa long queue at the VT registration office. where the documents for houses taken on rent are registered. Although the syatem can be improved, but the office operates in a manner that the window closes early and the brokers around keep hunting for bribes to give to officals to acquire token numbers
I was asked to pay 500rs to get my passport,when i told them that i don't have 500 they asked me how much i have and i told 220rs.then they said 200 will do.
My two wheeler was stopped by the Traffic Police for inspection (According to rules, they are supposed to stop vehicles only if the vehicle has violated any traffic rules. They cannot randomly stop vehicles, just for inspection. Not sure how many know this). As my vehicle's insurance was expired, the traffic constable asked me to pay Rs.800 as fine at court or to pay Rs.200 on the spot as a bribe and get away. I paid him Rs.200 and later found that the actual fine amount was Rs.400, which I could have paid and got a receipt.
I WAS TRAVELLING FROM DUBAI TO CHENNAI (THAT WAS MY FIRST VACATION SINCE I LEFT INDIA) I WAS CARRYING A AUDIO SET AIKA WHICH COSTS NERALY RS12,000, THE CUSTOMS OFFICER ASKED ME TO PAY RS 15,000 I ARGUED IN WAIN THAT WHAT I HAVE IS AN OLD SET (NEARLY 8 MONTHS OLD) AND DOSE NOT HAVE THE VALUE, HE TOLD ME PAY BIRBE OF AED 150 FEE (COMMONLY KNOWN AS "MAMOOL") IF FRONT OF THE OFFICER IN CHARGE . FINALLY I HAD TO PAY THAT FEE TO GO *******
We reported harassment by certain individuals and requested the help of the police. The report writer and the constable asked for money for the initial 'service' rendered.
I have bought a property in auction from the MSFC. I have to get it transfered to my name. I bought it in 2003. There was a long procedure and lot of expenses. I have applied for transfer to my name since 2008. I supplied with all the papers as they were demanded at every visit I went. I was asked a new paper every time. I am asked for Rs.15000 which i am resisting. Still the case is not done as i am not paying the bribe. someone help me...
