i have paid a bribe of rupees to afo(assistant fire office and district fire officer go get my lisence reneval what should i do .i am afrid to enclose my details as they may create me problems from all depatments.every month even electricity deparment people come and blackmail my school inchages and collect money so small schools like us is very difficult to survive in front of the corporate schools.each year to bribe like this very difficult for us.

Cop : can you pls park your car to the side.
I pull up to the side of the road.
He asks me for my license. I hand it over to him.
Cop: You have jumped the redlight. It is a grave offence.
Me: Sorry bhaiya, mainey to dekha hi nahi (I wasnt really sure, if I had jumped the red light)
Cop: Madam ab to court jaana hoga.
Me: Ok bhaiya. kaun sa court. Mujhe details bata do, mai chali jaungi .kaha jaana hai bata do
Cop: Lekin aapko badi pareshaani ho jaayegi. Court mei apka license punch kar denge, aap fir gaadi nahi chala paoge
Me: Bhaiya ab galti ki hai to saza to milegi
Cop: App aisa karo, fine de do
Me: Ok I will give the fine. Kitna hua ?
Cop: 3000 hai.( he thought I will negotiate with him)
Me: ok. Chalan bana do bhaiya mai de deti hu.
Cop: Main challan book nahi laya aapko wait ********** hoga.

Cop pretends to talk on the phone. Then comes back and says "challan mere boss ke paas hai, wo abhi breakfast kar raha hai, usko 1-2 ghante lag jaayenge. Appko late ho jaayega.
Me: Koi nahi bhaiya mai yahi wait kar lungi.
Cop: Accha chalo mai apse 100 rupees hi fine lunga
Me: Ok bhaiya. I hand him a hundred rupee note.
Me: Bhaiya iska raseed to de do
Cop: I have noted down your registration number and the receipt will be sent to your registered number address.
Me: nahi bhaiya aisa thode hi hota hai. mujhe to abhi raseed chahiye.
Cop: fir to police station jaana hoga.
I remove my laptop bag from the front seat and make space for him.
Me: Chalo bhaiya aap baith jao car mei, mujhe le chalo police station.
Cop: Accha chalo, I will forgive you this time.
Me: aisey kaisey bhaiya, mainey red light jump kiya hai. aisey mujhe jaane dogey to mere jaisa koi aur aakey accident kar dega.
Aap fine lo, mujhe wait karana hai to kara lo, police station jana hai to waha jaunhi, court jaana hai to wo bhi theek hai.

This conversation took almost 15 minutes of his time.

Cop: (He folds his hands)mujhe maaf kar do madam. mera time kharaab mat karo.
Me: pahle mere sau rupay wapas de do
He takes out my 100 rupee note.
I take the hundred rupee note from his hand and drive off.

hi i am on deputation and will be living in pune for only 2 months.I have a two wheeler bearing karnataka registration.I am well aware that i dont have to pay road tax of maharashtra since i am not going to live here for more than few months and my vehicle bears a personal number plate not a commercial ones.I have been caught 3 times and have been forced to pay bribes ranging from 500 to 600. its really a matter of shame how we are being exploited by people who are supposed to serve the citizen. I am already feeling alien and am tired of shelling out my hard earned money for all this things.Can anyone suggest how i can fight against this type of corruption.

I was traveling in my car (Kerala registration KL-XXXX) near Secunderabad railways. One police man controlling traffic in front of Railway station

I was traveling in my car (Kerala registration KL-XXXX) near Secunderabad railways. One police man controlling traffic in front of Railway station stopped my car. He asked me to park my vehicle to side of the road. I parked the vehicle at the side of the road. Then this guy came and asked for NOC and other certificates. I said I have all certificates including the Andhra Road tax which I paid (Rs. 43,000/- (Forty Three Thousand/-)). All documents he asked was with me in my car. Then he said my car's number plate is not as per standard. He said it should be like this and that. I am sure my number plate is as per standards (Black on white without any fancy numbers or other decorations.) Then he said I need to pay fine of Rs. 1000/- I said I will not pay. Then he said pay Rs 200/- and go. Without paying that he said he will not leave. He was talking in Telugu and it seems he don't know any English. I paid Rs. 100/- and he happily accepted.
