I have two licences One for MCYL(Motor Cycle) and another for LMV. Is that ok or do i need to do something about it and get the licences combined?
When applying initially only one licence was made for the LMV, I then reapplied and got another license for Motorcycles.
I went to kodungallur police station, Thrissur dist, Kerala.
I have applied for renewing my passport and it required a police clearance. So i called to police station and an office Mr Sajil took me outside the office and started asking few questions.
Finally he demanded a bribe else he will not give a positive police clearance. i had to give that bride because i needed to travel soon to UAE for joining my job. I was helpless.
I hope Police Authorities of kerala will take necessary action so that such illegal activities will be eradicated and justice prevails!!
I am regular railway passenger and unaware of the rules of it. I have to transport a bike. I went to railway station at 5 PM and person who sitting at the counter informed me that the train in which I have travel at 10 PM will not be allowed to transport any bike. He asked me to to come next day.
Then I made a inquiry and I found out that there are no such restrictions for bike transport in the train in which I was travelling. I got the confirmation at 8 o clock at night. Then I took my bike to station and again asked the person sitting at the counter. He informed me that he was asking me to come on next day as the transport fair is higher in the train in which I was travelling. I convinced him that it is necessary that I have to travel in that train and he convinced for transporting the vehicle. But it was already 9.15PM and train will leave at 10PM. I was totally in panic that how will I can finish the procedures in fifteen minutes as I was informed that before half an hour of train leaves I have to pay the fees. I asked to pack the vehicle and empty the petrol tank but I do not know why I need to empty the petrol tank.
As there was no time I did not look further into details about the rules of emptying the tank. I gave that task to packing persons who has packed the vehicle and also emptied petrol from the tank.
I was in belief that there was not petrol in tank and to make sure I tried to start the vehicle and vehicle was not starting. Also I have shaked the vehicle to hear the petrol sound but I could not hear any thing. And At 940 PM, for 10PM train, I can book for transportation of vehicle and I was happy that I could take bike with me as it is necessary for me. I am stating again that I am unaware of the rules and I was under total belief that there was no petrol in the tank of my bike (as per the explanation given above).
Next day when I get down from the train I went to luggage coach of the train and make sure that my bike was taken out. Railway police were there to check my bike. They asked me whether any petrol in the tank, I confidently said no and you can check. First they shook the vehicle and they can hear the petrol sound and even I can hear too. We could notice that there is 200 to 400 ml petrol in the tank less than half a liter. I was surprised and was totally in shock. I was totally blank that time. And I was more went in shock when I came to know consequences and the big mistakes I made. Police people informed me that it is a very big crime. Yes its a crime. They used the same word. They informed me that it is a non bailable offence and I made a big mistake. It is illegal to travel with petrol and I may get two years imprisonment. Then I came to know that I have risked whole train, if something wrong happens whole train might be in fire.
I was very afraid and totally blank. I have explained my situation to them that it was totally intentional and because of lack of time and under panic situations that had happen but there were not listening. I was ready to face the trail and punishment and penalty but hearing the non bailable thing and two years minimum imprisonment, I got scared. They asked me two thousand rupees to get me out of it. I had only five hundred rupees. Some how they accepted it and took five hundred rupees. And the railway employee who sit at luggage counter took hundred rupees from me, I took that money from ATM.
This is my story. When I came out of station clean, I felt very bad. Firstly because of big mistake I have made. It was unintentional that I carried petrol in bike tank, with belief that there was no petrol in the tank, which may turn the train into fire and risk the several lives. This is was unknowingly done by me but secondly, I paid bribe to get out of it. This was done knowingly by me. This is even bad on my part. Still I am feeling very bad. I am unable to sleep well from last one month because of the mistake I have done. Even it was unknowingly done by me but I have risked lives of around thousand people.
I feel that I deserve the punishment but afraid of imprisonment. I want to apologize the whole country for being a bad railway passenger at first and being a very bad Indian citizen by paying bribe. Also I want to say sorry personally to each and every passenger on that train that day. I want some time to take the punishment.
I want help from the experts to guide me about what should be done by me now? I am scared of the imprisonment but I am unable to get out of the situation, I am not getting proper sleep because of my this big mistake.
I had applied for a fresh passport ( normal) of my 2 month old son towards the end of January 2013. While the process at the Passport Seva Kendra at Bhikaiji Cama Place went smooth, which itself was testimony to the fact that my papers ( including annexures) were in order. It was after a period of 2-3 weeks that an SI for police verification came to my residence. I wasn't present at home. However, the SI left some papers and asked me to visit the police station at Nehru place, which is designated for passport verification. While his official duty of verifying that the child indeed stayed at that place could have been verified then and there, he left the place and left his phone number for me to visit the Nehru Place police station, on a particular date and time. I was suspecting that he was doing this for his personal gains, I went ahead nevertheless. The SI sat in a room with a single desk and no other staff, in the building adjoining the police station. For all applicants, he screened the papers and after getting satisfied, went out with the applicant to carry out "remainder" of the transaction. In my case too, he asked a few questions and I answered. After filing my papers, he took me outside the gate and started raising his eyebrows, obviously asking for a bribe and was being careful in not uttering an amount. Since I have never been comfortable with offering bribes, I resisted in a tactful fashion saying that I was only working on a meagre salary and I was getting the passport made not because we were headed abroad, but just to cover for any unforeseen travel requirements. When he did not budge, I had to take out Rs 150 from my pocket saying that was all that I could afford. He found that amount too paltry and he sarcastically cursed me for being a "cheap miser". However, he assured me that my work will be done. about 2 weeks later, the passport of my son was delivered, to me and my family's great relief.
I had even noted down the numbers on the currency notes, if I had to pay him a bribe. But that situation did not arise.
Our father had been dead five years ago. We r five brothers we all desided and distributed fathers property and singed on bond paper and map showing the portion to each brother belongs and submitted in municipal office to change names in there records. Now can i gift d property which comes to me to my son and what document s r required
Sometime back, I was passing by IFFCO Chowk in Gurgaon with my wife and baby daughter (coming from MG Road (malls side) going to join the highway towards Delhi). I passed through the intersection while the light was still green (and is supposed to be yellow for about 5 seconds more). But I think the yellow light is disabled there and so after green, no light is lit for some time before red appears. Now, the traffic policeman stopped me and waited there till the light turned red. After it turned red, he came to me and said that I skipped the light. I told him that I passed on green light but he didnot agree to me at all. He said I'll do a challan. I had no choice but to agree to it. But then he insisted on giving Rs.1100 cash as bribe (instead of the challan for the same amount). I strongly oppose corruption, so I insisted on the challan. He talked very rudely and kept on speaking in a bad language ("tujhe seedhe se samajh nahin aa rahi kya" and sentences like those) But I softly, yet firmly insisted on getting challan done. He took my license and RC and asked me to step out of the car. I obeyed him (while my wife and daughter were still in the car). He asked me who's kid was in the car. I said 'mine'. Then he started passing bad comments about me relating to my kid. I felt that I was being trapped. Then he said, "chal 100 rupye de de". I asked him, why Rs. 100, what will you do with it? The other officer (who was a bit senior I think - he was a little stout and sitting on the chair) said " Daru peeyenge, bol?"
I was also a bit scared since this person had my RC and license and my wife and daughter were in the car and it was night time. So I submitted to his wants and gave him Rs. 100/-. Now I ask the Traffic Police what is their use when they cannot even control these open rowdiness with the citizens? I ask - What - exactly what role does Traffic Police play here when they are not really protecting you but in fact you need to protect yourself from them? I have been seeing both these officers on IFFCO chowk for a long time now - not sure if they have moved from there now but I think I saw them there until very recently.
I went to the police station for physical verification in police station for passport renewal after no one showed up to my house for the same.
The person in charge of passport verification provided all the steps and documents to finish and at the end brazenly asked for bribe in order to process my passport. I ended up paying 300 at the station.
Frazer town BEO office, name of the employee who took bribe: Sudharani, she doesn't seem to do any work without money, sets a target of 2-3k collection per day and troubles all the people. If you dont wish to pay the bribe, ur file will be help up indefinitely. Can any action be taken?
