I was against paying bribe, I was made to run from pillar to post for more than 10 times and the Municipal officials demanded a bribe of more than Rs.10000/- to get the title transferred, I objected to it so everytime they try to find a reason to make me run, finally I gave in and had to pay Rs. 3000/- to get the title transferred. In no time they handed over the transfer of title. Wish they could have done this without accepting bribe and in a honest way, their duties, ethics and respect for fellow human beings are totally forgotten. Imagine the honest citizen going through the hardship of these corrupted wherein the life of common ********** is miserable . Feeling Guilty of Paying Bribe, but was no other Go.

The Officer (at BDA, Koramangla, Bangalore) go get following documents:-
1. Form attested by Notary
2. Flight ticket and visa
3. Govt doctor medical certificate

Then it will take 10 days for you to get the IDP. Upon telling him that I don't have that much time and getting govt doctor certificate will be tough. He said "What Saaaar, you are north Indian working in Software company...we can arrange for IDP in half an hour for 2500 /-. I told him will come next day after arranging the details. Upon reaching the corridor the bribe amount increased to 3400 / -and till i reached parking lot the agent asked 4000 /-.

Later i found out that in California IDP is not required if Indian 4 wheeler license is in English. So i saved myself the humiliation of treating these greedy b****ds' royally !

I explained them we did not construct any piece of property illegally and tried to explain them that we have sufficient document and BUDA approved sketch. It seemed that they were not in listening mood and indirectly demanded bribe. For which we did not respond and so they demolished party our property. I very, very, strongly request to help me to strict action againt District Collecterate and current City Municipalty Mayor and bring them to justice. They are treorrising people in the name governament.

I told them I knew drivers were allowed a limit of 30mg/ml but he threatened to court. I had to pay a bribe ( I was ready to pay a fine whatsoever amount but he threatened to seize the vehicle ) of 1000rs. I shouldn't have driven after drinking but I am sure that the limit what it came was permissible limit.

We were called to reach the police station by 8:00 PM. Along with my partner, I reached there on time. There were already others like us there. After waiting for around 45 minutes, they finally took our forms by calling the names. More waiting.. the set of forms went from one officer to another. Then finally at around 9:30 PM, we were asked to go to a room where the officer in uniform signed the form. Then we were asked to submit the form in another room inside. There we were asked specifically by the plainclothes person to pay him. He said that the rate was 1000 rupees.
