When I had visited to to police station for my wife & daughters passport verification. After verifying all my documents in spite of all my documents are clear. The police office asked me a bribe of Rs. 500 & I have paid it.

It is most corrupted dept. They are supplying the nesesity but they all are corrupt.
So.we must take action against them.
and make them feel who is the boss

I went to the License Issuing Authority(Bahadurgarh, Dist- Jhajjar, HR) for the Learner's License of my brother and mother, accompanying them with me.
While submitting the Application, I was asked to pay Rs -1000 for both the Licenses. I asked the person, receiving applications, for the receipts but he denied and told me to get it printed from the person who takes photograph. I went with my brother and mother for the photographs and after the process is done, I asked him for the same. He denied for the receipt and asked me to come after 2PM if I needed the receipts.
I waited, from 11AM to 2PM, outside the office and went to the person who had received the applications and asked for the receipts. I warned him for the stern action if I don't get the receipts and that too of Rs-1000.
He provided me 2 receipts of Lerner's License Fee worth Rs 60 each and donation slips(2 Red Cross Society worth 200 each, 2 IT Dept worth 100 each, and 2 more worth 100 rupees, of which I don't remember the Dept name) and asked me to get it printed and return the originals.
(Also, He returned the balance amount of Rs 80..CHEERS!!!!)
I did the same but could not find the answer!!!

This confession is not out of guilt but pure anger and frustration! Yesterday while crossing the IFFCO flyover junction in my car coming from MG Road

This confession is not out of guilt but pure anger and frustration! Yesterday while crossing the IFFCO flyover junction in my car coming from MG Road towards NH-8 i'd mistakingly overshot a traffic signal. (Please mind this is one of the most ill - planned traffic junction where you can easily miss seeing the traffic signal and can only cross it one shot if you're lucky) I was stopped by an traffic police constable in the middle as light turned red and asked for my papers. And then to my horror the policeman said that i need to give 1100 Rs - 100 Rs for traffic light violation + 1000 Rs for dangerous driving! and i would have to surrender my licence and pay the penalty in court as they don't accept cash (i don't stay in Gurgaon) when i asked him why is he planting this 'Dangerous driving' penalty when i clearly wasn't ( i was crossing it at less than 10 kmph)
When i further insisted him to not penalize me for something i'd clearly not done - he said fine i'll lower your penalty to 500 Rs and you can pay in cash. To which i half-heartedly agreed knowing the inconvenience it will cause me to get the licence back from the court later. But i thought he'd still give me challan for the lowered amount & i paid but infact he was blatantly asking for a bribe and happily walked away with it!
If this not criminal than what is? this particular traffic violation - ' Dangerous driving' is meant to allow these govt. licensed criminals to make quick buck! I would correct myself - i was FORCED to pay a bribe!!

Tatkal booking gets full for manual booking in a minute or two.That means one odd person can get manual tatkal in a queue. However if one pays 5 to 600 INR to AGENTS ONE CAN ALWAYS MANAGE TATKAL BOOKING.... Even emergency quota appears to be sold....Railway board officers cant ensure Emergency quota but agent can fetch any quota.

I said I didnt have the money and that I was a new rider and also new to the city and unfamiliar with the surroundings. I also asked where the posting was and he showed. Sure enough the No Parking posting was ther.e.Being a newbie, I panicked that they will take my bike away and I will not know how to retrieve it. Sensing this, the fellow offered to let me go for Rs.500. Because I said I didnt have that amount too...he took Rs.400. I would appreciate if someone posts the fine and the bike retrieval procedures in case they get impounded. I dont mind paying Rs.1050 if they tell me how and where to retrieve my vehicle.
