Sainik Nagar, Uttam Nagar, New Deli: Our area has been affected by this sudden water scarcity and the no. of borewells being dug has been ever increasing since 2-3 weeks. Digging borewells is illegal. But living in an un registered colony, with no Official MCD water supply, it is the water from these borewells which keeps us alive.
Now, policemen (in uniform) come asking for bribe. And that too when there is 5 borewells being dug simultaneously. All I want to know is, how bribing these crooked policemen legalises this illegel act?
Are we who dig these borewells, at fault, or these policemen, who shamelessly pocket bribes in a range of 50 to few thousands?!

When passport officer requested me to get the electronic copy of birth certificate from eSeva (AP online services) I came to know that after 30 days only municipal authority sends the records to them. When I approached the muncipal authority and requested to send the records ASAP and the member of staff asked bribe to do so, when I argued with him he left only one option to me to pay the bribe of 500 Rs.
I paid the bribe to get the officer to transfer the birth certificate record to eSeva service.

Here in Ahmedabad there is way were you are forced to pay bribe otherwise your works can't be done no matter what your work is.
Here what Property Tax officers do is that they make wrong assessment of your property and in manner that your Tax bill will increase so that you have visit them for correction in the bill. ( If your property is vacant and no one is using it, they will assess it as given on rent) Now, you can get it corrected if you pay Rs.2000 to Rs.5000 or 40% of the amount saved after correction.
