I have Given all relevant documents to Shantipura Panchayat for…

Reported on August 21, 2014 from Bangalore , Karnataka  ι Report #42976

I have Given all relevant documents to Shantipura Panchayat for a Property that I have purchased a few months back in Shantipura GP limits. The documents have been given to them on 15th July 2014 under SAKALA, and till date there has been no action on the same.
I was told on 15th July 2014 that the expense to get it tomorrow or day after will be around 1 Lakh rupees, in case you do not pay we are at right to delay it for 45 days to a few months also. I have stuck to my stand that I will not pay a bribe and my letter contains details of documents submitted to you, so you may please initiate the same.
I have visited the Gram Pachayat and met PDO's Mr Santosh and Mr Pradeep, both of whom take advantage of the other's invariable absence from the seat. And while we are stubborn and wait there, they say we are yet to recieve orders from our Superior, as our superiors are expecting money, and a large chunk of this amount will be going to him.
I had also called the CEO Mr Bettaswamy (KAS) RDPR - Bangalore (U) today on his number 9480852000 at about 4:00PM, and told him that I want to complain regarding errant employees in his jurisdiction. He said he is busy and talk to them for a resolution. I again re-iterated that it was a complaint, to which he said come to his office and talk to the people there, he has 3-4 people under him who can take care of it.
I understand that the employees are shielding themselves under the umbrella of SAKALA, but my question is when 1 Lakh can make it happen in 2 days, why does it by default have to be finished on or before SAKALA. Is it essential for us to grease palms to get things done.

Either ways I am adamant, that I WILL NOT PAY A Bribe.

What's your reaction?
