Process

  • Once you visit the kiosk, two trained policemen manning it will guide you on how to file the FIR.
  • As the first step, initiate a call and talk to the official concerned via video conference who will be remotely managing the complaint system at the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) on Infantry Road.
  • All details of the case would be collected by the officer and the section under which the case to be booked discussed with the complainant.
  • The attending police official will file the case and a copy of the FIR will be delivered to the complainant instantly as an acknowledgement.
  • The FIRs can be filed through RFCs irrespective of the jurisdiction, where the crime took place.
  • The complainant can even scan, sign and print documents through RFC. They can even review their complaint with the help of an expert to make sure there is no error.
