A public trust is generally formed to remove social maladies. In recent times, this has become a tool for financial misappropriation as seen in the allegation made by India Against Corruption against a trust managed by Indian Law Minister, Salman Khurshid. Ironically, these trusts succeed in concealing funds contributed for a social cause.
