NRI writing on our website stated that he had to pay Rs. 100 to a guard of an ATM for withdrawing money. The respondent when visited Auroville, an international town near Pondicherry, went to an ATM to withdraw money. As soon as he withdrew the money, the guard of the ATM demanded money from him. The person with no other choice had to pay the money.
