Corruption in Municipal Corporation of Nanded Maharashtra State
I wish to bring attention towards Rampant Corruption and Deliberate/Intentional neglect of basic civic amenities done by officers and the staff of Nanded City Waghala Municipal CorporationIt is impossible to get New Building Approval plan without paying good amount of bribe to the agents and middlemen who act as conduct for getting our plan approvedAt the same time professional builders and contractors can be seen violating the norms at the expense of public as they bribe the municipal officials and get their illegal work doneWe have to also pay bribe to concerned clerk to get any information under the RTI act.No pay No information.Garbage can be seen piled up throughout the city and the concerned usually are not bothered to look in to that matter Unless we approach the Corporator the authorities don't act.All over the city sanitary drainage pot holes can be seen discharging sewage right on the road.The condition of Road is so poor that tuition going students are getting hit hard by heavy vehicles causing loss of life while trying to prevent potholes on the road.In fact one over bridge connecting our city to Cidco is in such a bad condition that it needs urgent repairs as due to breaking of protective fences and very huge holes on the road using of which has become suicidal and as it does not have protective fences at places,up till now more than hundred people have used it to commit suicide by jumping in to the river.Similar is the condition of street light.In majority of city the street light don't work.In some areas where street lights are working they are kept on during daytime leading to Loss of precious electricity.We have acute water shortage but in few areas we can see the water outlets have water for twenty four hours all the year around and the water is wasted.Kindly share story with concerned Government of Maharashtra officiald
