Demanded 12.5K INR for carrying my old broken laptop and a recently purchased laptop

The feeling of being robbed starts at the customs after you come to homeland! They give an impression of " You are in India and welcome". The customs officer (black on complexion) in white uniform is fully corrupt at this airport. Me unaware of carrying a second laptop is OK (which is legal if you are a software professional) tried to rob me. Initially he estimated around 15K and later told me to pay 12.5K only (officer's concession). I was rigid and made up my mind not to pay a paisa for that corrupt "Indian customs officer" even if I had to wait for the entire day! I am a localite and decided to give him a hard time! Surprisingly it worked.

LESSON LEARNT: Give them a hard time. Be stubborn. Make a note of the Name of the Officer on his badge.
