I fought the system

This was in 2001 - My landline went dead and the usual practise was to pay your area telephone guy money for it to get fixed. After waiting/following up for few days, I opend the telphone diary and called up the top guy in the Bangalore telocm, as expected it was attended by his secretary, I expalined my situation and my landline was fixed same day. My father couldn't believe that I fixed it without paying money.
The local telecom guy met my father and made this comment " I did not expect your son to go all he way tothe top". I was in my 1st year B.com.


If now, I would send emal to all the top guys every day till fixed.
