Traffic Police are the most corrupt ones
My hometown is Indore and I was in Delhi for 2 days to attendance a seminar. I was coming from Noida to Delhi via Ring Road. So this incident took place near the flyover from where we take a right turn to Anand Vihar. A traffic police, named Satish stopped me and asked me for my papers. While I was showing him my car papers, he told me that i do not comply with the rules for number plate, although I do and it's just a basic white plate with black fonts on it. Somehow, I realised that I did not have my car's registration card (But I had all my papers, PUC, Insurance, Driving License, Passport, Aadhar Card). So he asked me to pay a challan for Rs. 5000. I did not have that much cash. So I asked for settlement. He asked give me 2000 and leave. After begging for like half and hour, we settled for Rs. 1000.
Today I was browsing for the details, and I found out that, I had a right to go to court and show my original papers and get my challan dismissed within 15 days. I should have just asked that man to give me the challan. I feel disgusted about these cheater. They are not here to help us but to steal and are DACOIT
