Smooth issue of ration card
While agents demanded Rs2000 for new ration cards outside the Food & Civil supplies dept - Malleshwarm.
We wanted Ration card for New gas connection, Address Proof.
Filled the form, submitted photographs, & documents (House tax papers in our case but rental agreement incase of rentad accomdation).
Got it verified/signed on the 1st floor while we assumed thats where the bribe requests happen but no one mentioned & asked us to submit the form near the counter. Receptionist was well spoken & asked us to check after 15 days.
about 14-15 days we visited & our application was rejected for some issue, while we corrected & submitted again and was approved in 2 days. (we almost assumed this happend for bribe but we were wrong). We were asked to come with family for photographs at some date. We had to wait for 1.5-2hours in the queue while other got photographed. We were photographed, name verfied paid rs5-10 for lamination.. Done!
