It happened during Police verification for Passport at Sono(a village comes under district Jamui). First they ask me to come to the P.S. Sono with the persons I have given reference. I asked them to come to my address so that they can verify it properly. After making call him(a policeman whom i talked to in the Police Station) 3 days continuously he came to my address and completed verification process. Generally Police verification process cost a person 400-500 Rs. but he demanded for 2000 Rs. and I am just like WHAT? He told me that he have to distribute this bribe up to SP office, Jamui. And if i refuse to pay he(at SP office) will not recommend me on my Police verification document. So it's my wish that whether I wanna pay bribe or not. In such a situation who will not pay a bribe. After negotiation he told me "you have to pay at least 1500 Rs. as I have to pay 1000Rs. to SP office, Jamui, if you don't have money right now don't bother you can visit P.S (Sono) tomorrow with 1500Rs. After negotiation he finally agreed to receive 1100Rs. by telling me that it's a student concession. So it's my story of pay a bribe.
