I had visited the Marriage register office at khar telephone exchange with all my documents in tact on the 23rd of Jan and had submitted the documents, being a divorcee my divorce order wasn't a complete one coz of which I has to get an amended copy from the goa court my other documents were submitted and paid a fee of 150/- but I could get a date they said till I got the amended order, after getting the same I revisited the registar office with the documents on the 2nd of april to show the documents and to get the date for the marriage to be registered. I submitted the documents when this person named Ganesh sitting at the counter asked me to pay him 5000 which he said was the fees for registering the marriage which I wasn't aware of what the actual amount was and paid him only to find out latter when we actually went to register the marriage that the fees where merely around 150 which I had already paid which clearly shows that he had pocketed the rest of the amount and given me no receipt for the same instead just a receipt of Rs. 150/-.
