For opening a restaurant in Koramangala, the local corporator (Ramakrishna), inspector (Krishna) and their representative (agent Syed Tajammul) took an amount of Rs 1,00,000 (One Lakh). They said this is the market average and since the restaurant was in front of a temple they insisted the priest needs to be bribed else we won't get the license. For a government fees of Rs 5,500 these vultures took so much extra to feed themselves. Anyone who's dealing with this agent kindly be aware and try to do the process yourself as much as possible.
