Place: Koramangala-Indiranagar inner ring road.

I was riding my bike with my colleague, who was not wearing helmet.
As I took U-turn to go towards Indiranagar, police stopped us as my pillion rider was not wearing helmet. We paid a penalty of Rs.100/- towards this. Proper receipt was given. The CRR number of the receipt is E/17/1091/34426.

After that, the police officer asked to produce the DL and RC of my two-wheeler (KA-05-HR-2471). I was not carrying the documents and told the officer that I would produce the originals at the police station within 24 hours. The police asked to either pay a penalty of Rs.1400/- and get the receipt, or pay a bribe. I was forced to pay Rs.200/- as bribe, without which I would not have got the possession of the bike.

I don't know the name of the police officer. As per the receipt given for "NOT WEARING HELMET-PILLION RIDER", the police station is "ULSOOR".
