Yes, i am against paying bribe but i was inclined to do so coz the officer incharge of issuing the birth certificate of my daughter was demanding for 'something'. He deliberately used to delay issuing the certificate informing he has not got the notice from hospital or saying to come after some days...server problem bla bla. The third time when we approached, a junior assistant informed we need to pay for some forms, that this...when we asked all the forms are online now, why do we have to pay excess. They told, that particular unit (Mahadevapura BBMP office) has still not come under online processing, so we need this. Along with that if we tip the senior officials, we can take the certificate in another 30 minutes. Since we were sick of tavelling back and forth, we paid 2500 altogether and Tada...our certificate was ready in few minutes. How pathetic!!!
