I paid bribe to Shivalinga Birdar for Police verification at Banshankari Thana. I had gone twice and he had asked me to come later for submitting the address proof documents. When I went thrice I had to wait at the station for 10 mins, till he came to the station. He completed the formalities within 10 minutes after he arrived. Later he did not demand any money but said I can give how much ever I want to give, if I am pleased with his service. Since I had already waited for 3 weeks for the police to call me which never happened, and thought he might delay sending the verification report to the passport office, I paid a bribe.
