For issue of EPIC Card, the lady requested Rs. 50 per card (at Bangalore One centre, Kalyan Nagar, Outer Ring Road). I have earlier seen somebody else pay that Rs. 50 for a card and collect it, when I went to add details of my wife's name and mine in roster for printing later. I remembered (by mistake) that it was Rs. 15 stated in website of Bangalore One. Actually its only Rs. 10 :( https://www.bangaloreone.gov.in/public/epic.aspx
When I asked for receipt and she stated, "we do not give receipts; I am asking openly give some, sir". I finally decided at giving Rs. 50 and collected the card for my wife & myself.
So, if these website charges are still valid, then its Rs. 30 paid as bribe for the 2 cards & no receipts.
After voting in 2 recent elections; after 3 visits to couple of BBMP offices; after 5 visits to Bangalore One centre and returning empty handed, I had the ID card delivered finally in my hands :(
