It costs me Rs 200 to take a photograph

I am ********************, software engineer working at Bangalore. I am residing at Kadugudi area. On 31st of May, when the whole country was shut down because of the strike called by BJP on the petrol price hike agenda, I got a leave from my office. At 11am, I decided to go for a photography using my blackberry handset. There is a small bushy jungle behind the ZEE Literia school, Kadugudi, where I used to go for morning work everyday. i am not sure if that area full of coconut trees, and eucalypotash trees is a private disputed area, as there are no hints anywhere near by thar site. However, i just went curious after seeing a abandoned well inside. The well is just few yards far from the main road. I went near the well with one of my friend and took a snap. Interestingly we found an abandoned house and tractor near by. However we decided to comeback. Just while returning, we found 2 cops standing near my bike. They asked us the reason of visiting that place. We convinced them, as nature lover we went there to take few snaps. They warned us, that it was a disputed land and we should avoid ourselve from visiting that area again. We understood our mistake...
But the story didn't end here. They asked us to ********** at the Kadugudi police station. I was agree. I felt its OK, as we didn't intend ant crime for vising that place. I was agree with them. But they started harassing us like how we will face trouble if we get into the PS. They will seize our vehicle, they might arrest us till the end of the investigation. Still I was feeling its ok to go to the PS. I was agree to go with them. And we started towards the PS. But on the mid way they stopped and started harassing again. They told us that since its a sensitive day all over India, we might face a arrest at the PS. My friend with me got fear... and started negotiating with them. They asked for Rs 500, where as my friend was able to close the deal with Rs 200.
I was completely frustrated the whole day. I was hopeless. Why did I pay the bribe to a policeman, where as I didn't commit any crime.

I might have tesspassed a private area without my knowledge. But how come they left me for only 200 bucks. Imagine a terrorist was trying a plant a bomb somewhere and might got clashed with such kinda policeman. They would have let him free for only 200bucks. If I were a criminal, what is the security my nation has???? I am still not able to come out of my houghts... Finally I decided to ********** the OIC of Kadugudi PS. I went there and told him all the story to the OIC.
But I didn't lodge a complaint. I got fear to lodge a complaint against the police... Please let me know what should I do?
