Today I was surprised after this happened. I consider that smoking is public places is punishable but there was no information or board showing prohibition of smoking. I see many people have smoke outside the complex where the cars are parked. But today it was a different scenario. A young RPF constable spotted me and took me inside the complex. I repeatedly asked him that what is my guilt as many people smoke at this place, he said me this is VIP parking and smoking is not allowed. I asked him then why it is not mentioned here. That GRP personnel handed me over to a young guy who was in civil uniform, took me to the GRP office where a non uniform person told me that I will be taken to the court. I told him this is not a crime you better go and know your duty property. I knew that I have to shell out some money or these corrupt swines or they will harass me like any thing. I told him what you want? He said that I have to sign a bail bond of INR 350 and will be released. He Took My name sign. & address and the amount but didn't gave me any kind of receipt. On asking told me to come tomorrow and collect it. So here is the conclusion that the amount which I paid was nothing but bribe which was extracted from me in a smart way. I would like to tell you all readers of this post that please do not smoke near the sealdah station premises or outside the compound keep a distance of 150mts from the main building of sealdah the area which is not under the RPF. Spread it to your friends & relatives and be cautious that next time you don't get busted by these greedy bribe hunter RPF & civies team.
