Had parked a 2-wheeler in a place with NO No Parking board. While it was towed away, I stopped them and claimed the 2-wheeler. They asked for Rs. 300 as a fine, or to go to a police station 3 kilometres away. I chose to pay. They refused to give a receipt. There was a senior traffic police officer in the vehicle, and this transaction happened in his presence.
