I parked my vehicle at NO Parking in Old Madras Road for five minutes on some urgent work. By the time i returned my two wheeler was towed. I expected some kind of information as in where and which police station it was towed. But no body around were able to give any concrete information. I walked up to the nearest Bypanahalli Police Station. I was directed to approach Indira Nagar police station which was about 3 kms away. After reaching there, i was told to check with Jeevan Bhima Nagar Traffic police. Once i reached there, i noticed 4-5 touts with my vehicle waiting for me. There was not a single police officer near the spot. These people asked for my license and said 300/- has to paid else vehicle will be confiscated and i will get after 15 days. After i paid them the penalty amount, they did not even give me a receipt. I realized i just paid BRIBE. Karnataka Traffic Police are the most corrupted people i ever encountered after driving vehicles in 4 states.
