Paid Bribe for Expired PUC

This happened at Sion-Dharavi Junction. I was stopped and asked for various papers and was found to have an expired PUC. I was told the fine was Rs. 1000 and also he was fining me for lane cutting for which he said the fine would be an additional Rs. 500. I was willing to pay the fine, but then he told me that my license will be impounded and i would have to collect it from the court after paying the fine. This i found to be tedious since i stay on the outskirts and would have to take a leave from work to collect my license. So i negotiated with the constable and settled for a bribe of Rs. 700 and yes i am not proud of it.
