Paid bribe to register a company
I am working for last 9 months without any registration and did not face any problem. Now that I want to work properly and within legal parameters the sales tax officer doesn't do my work until I pay him 3000rs. I did not have more than 1500rs so he asked me to pay after 2-3 days with an interest of rs. 500 I.e. I'll have to pay him rs. 2000 more so as to obtain a no objection certificate from sales tax office. What should I do? Feeling trapped!
