Dear Sir,
My mother is been diagonalized for Cancer at Kidwai Hospital. She underwent a surgery then 6 cycles of Chemotherapy and now doctor has advised for Radiation Therapy.
We paid Rs. 7,500/- as Radiation Therapy fee at the Hospital. When she went for registration to the Radiation Therapy at the radiation room. The operator demanded Rs. 2,500/- and the helper lady Rs. 500/-. In total we are demanded to pay Rs. 3,000/- bribe OR wait until everybody for the day is finished and then our case will be taken forward; irrespective of we coming early. Moreover the operator threatens to NOT treat well if bribe is not paid.
This is disgusting situation, I paid ZERO bribe during the whole course of her treatment. Now for radiation therapy why should I?
We also confirmed from other patients about this radiation therapy person demanding bribe.
I request the vigilance and other authoritative agencies to take immediate action and clean this department from the corrupt officials.
