The registration office in Kavali, Nellore(d.t),A.P people had taken 1500/- as a fee to give a marriage certificate.When I expressed my doubt they told it is government fee every couple must give to get the certificate.But after that incident I realized that the govt fee is only 100/- for Hindu Marriage and 150/- for special marriage.Ours is Hindu marriage and I had paid 1400/- as a bribe to get the marriage certificate.
