CBI must not report to the Lokpal

The American FBI and the CIA, and the British MI5 and MI6 all report to their respective governments and not to any unelected ombudsman like the Lokpal. While the MI5 and MI6 come under the purview of the Joint Intelligence Committee operating under the Intelligence Committee, perhaps this is a learning ground for India and the Central Bureau of Investigation must not report to the Lokpal….
