A matter of two choices

In the aftermath of the Anna Hazare movement many viewpoints and perspectives around checking corruption surfaced. One such proposal suggested legalising bribery and fixing a cap on facilitation fee of Rs 5,000 or Rs 10,000. The idea behind this was to compromise, and to somehow accept and live with what cannot be done away with. Thus, it gets one thinking if helplessness of the society then, is a valid criterion in advocating such exceptions…
