Rs 1,650,000 collected as bribe by the Judiciary last week
Fifty six reports and Rs 2,354,176 paid as bribe! These are the latest numbers at ipaidabribe.com. Of the total number of bribes, 22 were reported against the police, and three and four against the judiciary and the customs departments respectively. The other reports are spread across registration, water supply, income tax, motor vehicles, municipal services and other departments. While there were only three reports against the judiciary, the amount paid was Rs 1,650,000. In comparison, the police collected Rs 8,870, and customs Rs 128,930.
