Bribe asked for Aadhar enrolment at Kapashera border Aadhar enrollment centre
Place- Kapashera Border Aadhar enrollment centre, Gali No-11, Near Shiv Temple
What- For Aadhar Enrollment
Logic- None
Hi,
I was astonished when asked money for Aadhar enrollment at above location. This is what happened:
Me (After Biometric, Photo and Data entry)- Sir, please sign the form
Guy at desk- Please give 100 Rupees
Me- For What?
Guy at desk- For this (Pointing at my form)
Me- But this is for free
Guy at desk- Talk to the man In-charge
.......Man In-charge was busy on mobile so I waited 5 mins, When he disconnected call
Me- Sir what for this 100 rupees?
MIC- What for you here?
Me- For Aadhar enrollment
MIC- Money is for the same
Me- But its free
MIC- Its free at government enrollment center like Pragati Maidan etc.
Me- So, this is a private center and private centers can ask for money?
MIC-Bina "Ghoos" diye kahi sarkaari kaam nahi hota
Me- So you are accepting that this is a 'Ghoos'
MIC- Yeah...(Shrugging off), I openly say this is 'Ghoos', Police station se bhi koi aata hai toh hum paise lete hai
I was done after this, collected my documents and form and turned back while MIC kept telling his 'Logic & Rationale' behind this...
Dont know what to do, Thought of going to next enrollment center but fear that story will be same...Need some time to soak it in but will not let it go easily.
