Denied paying fees "bribe" asked for Passport renewal police verification Sahibabad Ghaziabad
I had applied for Passport reissue as it's going to be expired this month March 2015. I received call yesterday 13 March 2015 for Police verification. As I was in office I asked the caller to visit me on 14 March 2015. Today policeman Mr Yadav came to my residence at around 10:30 AM for verification. He asked for documents and photograph followed by few questions. At last he asked for fees!!! On enquiring why fees is required, he said he has to pay it to thana. I declined to pay bribe as I had all the documents. I have also messaged DGP, UP Police about it, let's see what happens next.
