Asked for Rs 200 'Jurmaana'
So a police officer came to my address for police verification. After checking all the documents and filling up forms, he asked for Rs 200 Jurbaana for being late. He was supposed to come at my hostel, but he didn't. He came to another hostel and called me up, asking me to come to Kumaon Hostel, which takes about 10 minutes to reach by walk. He wasn't there and I was the first to arrive. Obviously he was just trying to finding something so that he can ask money. I refused to pay him, saying that I don't have the money now. He insisted and offered me to give a ride to my hostel so that I can bring the money from my room. I refused to take that ride.
Upon seeing me refusing for 4-5 times, he said that this process can take a long time, which seems like a way to stall my application. I'm hoping that this does not happen.
