The current SHO Lajpat Nagar Police Station - must be given a Standing Ovation (despite INEFFICIENCY looming large over their heads)

Reported on January 28, 2014 from New Delhi , Delhi  ι Report #39187

In continuation to my 03 Oct 2013 "Open Letter to You Mr Commissioner" through this very sight, here's another feather.

Dear Mr. Commissioner,

I'm rather bewildered at the contrast in attitudes.

While on one hand, I encountered an ACP of Lajpat Nagar Police station who's more out of the Police Station than in his seat, even during his public dealing hours. A call to his mobile and a note left with his Reader and PS also hasn't yielded any resolution/ even a courtesy response till date.

In contrast, I had a chance meeting with the SHO, who too was supposed to be out, but maybe God was kind, I caught him just in time to share my concerns with him.

To my surprise, I found him amicably decent in his behavior towards me, unlike some of his erstwhile colleagues.

Therefore, despite Lajpat Nagar Police Station displaying inefficient, unprofessional trends; I'd say the new SHO, Mr. Ramesh Kakkar at Lajpat Nagar Police Station must be acknowledged, for not just what he does, but the way he manages to do it?

He's extremely sweet and appearing to be listening to your woes with a promise to act upon his commitment.
However, the moment you leave his sight, he Forgets what he said, with a comment, "Yaar yeh madam chahati kya hain" which then resounds throughout the beat and also reaches my ears :).

Now, you know why the rest of his 165 team of Constables and 14 Sub Inspectors are so indisciplined?

Having said that, I'd humbly implore to you sir, The Commissioner of Police and all your IPS Leagues to churn out a system where, "when a citizen calls on them for Help, there's no tomorrow"

Because, 9/10 Times, these men in uniform (almost all ranks), despite being witnessed as doing nothing at that moment/ snailing into meetings....do not take calls and if they do, they don't address the concern properly. A return call, even if promised, is almost NEVER returned.

To ensure, each of these men in Uniform inculcates that mandatory Code of Conduct; May I urge you Sir, the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, to please look beyond the obvious, out of the box and share some best Practices of the MNC Corporate? Where each rank's Job Profile is clearly listed out as a PREAMBLE for us citizens to understand your Working Better?

Right now, we are clueless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

(Complainant - Whose Complaints, including an FIR are still UNATTENDED, since 20 March 2013)
