When i got BSNL landline and broad band connection in Bommasandra, i was asked to pay a bribe of Rs.500 for it. When i asked why should i give, got an answer that it happens with all customers who got new connection. But i refused to pay and later when something went wrong with my broadband even after giving complaint, no one minded to check and provide solution for it for more than 15 days, but bill came promptly for the time i havent used it.
Later i complaint to the general manager Babu there in his office, he said it would happen but acted very rude as if i am getting it as a FREE service. And moreover when i said that i was asked for bribe by their person he questioned me back asking "Why you dont want to pay bribe?". Its a stupid and irresponsible question but i gave him the right answer to keep his mouth shut.
As my problem havent got solved for many days and disconnected the service and took a private internet provider and more happy now.
I would fight against corruption, and i dont pay bribe. Thanks for providing a space to put my bad experience.
