Railway Engineer asked me to put less cement in Bridge Construction.
I am a Civil Contractor. I got a contract as per giving bribe without which its impossible to get any sort of contract in Railways. The work was to build several Concrete Bridges upon which Passengers Trains were to cross. The Engineer incharge of the site asked me to put less cement then the desired and do a 50/50 of the remaining. I got infuriated and complainedit to the highest authority of Railways after which he was suspended. I personally made sure every batch of the concrete batch was as per RDSO guidelines and no compromise could have ever be made on the quality of construction. I incurred heavy losses and was in huge debt of money but not of any guilt.
