U need not give in to bribe
I was asked to pay Rs 5000 for lowering my water bill to hundreds from thousands:).I asked the name of the person who asked for the bribe , made three copies of a letter written by me stating that Mr so and so had asked me to pay the bribe to lower my bill. Gave one copy to the person who asked for the money,submitted the other and got acknowledgement stamped on my copy. Low and behold i got my bill which was actually only Rs 240. If we at each level resist corruption we can look forward to a corruption free India.Let each of us do our bit.
