Do we have to pay bribe for getting khata certificate for our flat purchased from the builder?
Absolutely not. Please read the FAQs on ipaidabribe.com to understand what are the documents to be filed for Khata. If you follow the instructions scruplously, nobody can stop you from getting a Khata. Sometimes the builder connives with the Municipality to collect bribes for Khatas. However, if your builder plays tricks on you, please tell him that you will file a police complaint against him too.
