I applied for new borewell in April 2014, to the Ground water authority in Vishweshwaraiah towers (13th floor), bangalore. I gave them the Rs.500 fees paid challan from Canara bank. They took Rs.100 at the time of application, without a receipt. I kept following up the status for a month. After that, I was asked to come again to discuss it. When I visited them, I was asked to pay Rs.3000 to create the borewell report, without a receipt. After two weeks, I was asked to visit again to collect the approval document, where I was asked to pay Rs.500 to two different people on the room, and another Rs.100 to a clerk. Then I get the approval after 2 months.
