Passport verification wali Mithai
The passport officer came up for verification. I had heard about the MITHAI they ask for and I was ready for that to come up. He collected all the papers and asked me if I had heard about the bribe thing. I declined. He said , " you need to pay something or else it won't be done". I was surprised to see his audacity. I said him that I would pay only if he can show me it in written if something of this sort was given. He took my papers and went away. It has been two months and there is no response from their side. But no matter what, I will fight back and get my passport cleared without bribe. I know its a small issue but its my first step to "India Against Corruption". ********** **********.
