3000 Rupees was asked because I entered in a wrong side

A constable named "**********" at the Pune Station Traffic Police Booth charged me 3000 rupees yesterday(21st March 2012), for entering in a "Wrong Side" at Pune Station, on insisting that I didn't have that amount, he told me that don’t take receipt and pay me 1000 rupees and go.
Finally he let me off after I paid him 500 rupees (He was not even returning me my 500 rupees when I give him a 1000/- Rupee Note.)

I'm certain that the charges for the offense (for entering into a wrong side with my bike), do not compound to more than 200 rupees, as per the Vehicle Act.

I posted this Incident on PTP's facebook Portal and I am Proud to say that I got Justice. Cheers to PTP team and DCP Traffic Mr.Pandre for Punishing officials like "**********"
