450 bribe to traffic police no fault of mine

Parked vehicle in a place shown by parking contractor. By the time I came back my car had been towed away. Reached the traffic cop office by paying rs. 70 in a 3wheeler. Waited for the cop to comeback from his rounds for 2 hours. Argued with the cop for sometime that it is not my fault. He was adament and agreed for settlement at rs 450. I lost half a day on this.
