Bribe paid for name change of MIDC plot

After my wife's father passed away, his MIDC plot which was on his name was to be transferred on to my wife's name. After a visit to the MIDC office in Shivajinagar, Pune, the person who was incharge had asked for a 10000 Rs bribe to easily facilitate the name change. After the bribe was paid, the name was changed without any hassle.
