After few days of submitting my passport application in Passport Seva Kendra, a police verification officer came to my home for verification. After completing all the formalities he asked for some money. I said I already paid the money while filing my application. He said this amount is for police department and he said this money is equally distributed in the respective Police Station. I was help less at that point of time and gave him 300 rupees which he asked for.
