City cop asked me for a bribe for taking a U-turn in the wrong path

I was travelling from Koregaon park towards ramwadi, I took a U-turn at the Gold ad labs junction. It was a traffic violation from my side. A city cop ( not traffic) with a group of 3-4 policemen stopped me at 7:30 PM. They told me I had trafffic violation. He told me to pay the fine which i readily agreed. He told me the fine was Rs200/- how much would i like to pay? I told him, whatever is the charge. He wrote down my number in the book with my address and told me that I can pay Rs100/- which he pocketed. I was in a hurry and hence agreed to pay him the bribe. I saw them doing the same to another person.
